Infrastructure Support Specialist

Position Overview:
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include: Respond to customer inquiries via email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve basic technical issues. Escalate complex issues to Level Two support or relevant departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare, Failover clustering)
- Proficiency with Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange
- ITIL Foundation, ServiceNOW, Asset Management (CMDB) knowledge
Responsibilities
- Monitor Linux and Windows-based systems. Perform essential network administration and troubleshooting tasks.
- Work autonomously and demonstrate a high level of self-direction in handling complex tasks effectively.
- Offer technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for Linux and Windows-based systems.
- Write scripts using PowerShell and Bash for automation and other tasks as needed.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL standards and best practices for infrastructure support.
- Maintain and update technical documentation for infrastructure systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Infrastructure Support Engineering
- Expertise in monitoring of Linux and Windows-based systems, practical admin experience with Prometheus and Grafana is an advantage
- Proficiency with administering patching and software deployment areas.
- Strong scripting skills with PowerShell and Bash.
- Expertise in Windows and Linux Administering
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues promptly.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects concurrently and consistently delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
- Good verbal and written skills in English at a B2+ level
